Hello Crafty Friends.....

Two blogs in one month...... that's a new record for me.  I'm trying!

The next exciting thing coming that I am excited about is the NEW SHIMMER STIX.  For those of us that love the shimmer, but dislike the mess of spraying it on (or aren't very good at it), these are just the solution to get the beautiful shimmer applied very easily.

I am hoping that the video link I am trying to attach, works. If not, the video is on youtube.

I know it's been a really long time since i have posted anything on my blog.  This social media thing is just not my cup of tea.  Life has a way of putting many obligations onto our path and the things that can slide, and it's usually the things that are 'not your cup of tea' that sometimes slides.  But I will keep trying and that's the best i can offer.  With that being said, I was at the convention for the Craft and Hobby Association (CHA), now known as Association For Creative Industries (AFCI), and I am very excited about some new things coming.  I will try posting one or two a week for the next few weeks, so stay tuned.  I will first mention them on Facebook and will then follow up with my blog.  One of the items that really grabbed me was the GLUE SPONGE.  The demonstration was amazing.  Here are a few details.

The Glue Sponge system is a new innovative way to glue without the mess!

Our acid free glue sponge system
is safe for all types of  arts and       craft projects. It provides an easy,
neat and more efficient gluing             application than traditional                                 glue bottles, sticks or pens.

Benefits of The Glue Sponge

  • Eliminates bumps, lumps and wrinkles
  • Helps prevent too much glue on your project
  • Works great for gluing small or thin, delicate die cuts
  • Easy for children to use
  • Made with an antibacterial sponge
  • Plastic container is 100% recyclable

The Glue Sponge is Easy to Use
First Press!
Place the material that you want to apply glue on top of the sponge. Then, gently press the material onto the Glue Sponge. The sponge will evenly coat the back of the material in glue.

Then Lift!
As you lift the material, any excess glue will be absorbed back into the Glue Sponge. This will leave a nice thin layer of glue on your material. Plus, less glue is wasted from over gluing.

Now Apply!
Now just stick the glued material onto the desired spot on your project. Notice how clean the project looks when using the Glue Sponge system.
Now You Have a Nice Project with No More Glue Mess!

scrapbookingandmore.net    ...........   is LIVE!!

Even with a lot of 'life's happenings", my website is finally completed enough to go 'live'.

I would like to thank my Website Co-ordinator, Alicia Britton who has worked so diligently and will be continuing to work (hopefully still diligently), so that the remaining products can be added as well.  These products will include over 200 paper collections and kits at huge savings.  So watch for these and so much more yet to come!

I would also like to thank all of you for your understanding and patience.  Words can not express my appreciation for everyone who has helped me transition from store to online store.  I miss seeing many of you and please feel free to come by.... especially those of you that come from out of town.

Please note that we hope we have ironed out the 'glitches' with the website.  If you do encounter any issues, please contact me and inform me so that we can resolve any problems.  Spelling mistakes don't count, people!  ha ha.

Please read my last blog to see the newest products and a coupon with once again, my thanks.
